Client Furniture Installations – Making a House into a Home:

Installations, or moving and placing furniture into a house, are the backbone of our work; with our volunteers’ help, and our designers’ keen eye, we transform drab spaces into comfortable and stylish rooms. If you like to meet the people you help when you volunteer, we highly encourage you to join us in our work; it is an event you will never forget. Our non-profit partners become aware of recipient needs sometimes a few days before an installation. Because of this, we ask for our volunteers to let us know if they are available during the week, as well as weekends, and to be aware that we might call them a week, sometimes days before an installation. We greatly appreciate our volunteer’s flexibility. |

We need help with:

Individuals: We are always in need of people help us move furniture into a home, help us put together furniture, and help us decorate with accessories.
Groups: We welcome small groups to our installations. Rarely do we work with a recipient that is large enough to support a group of ten volunteers or more. Please consider splitting up your group into smaller installation teams to work on two or more installations. There is always more work to go around!

3rd Saturday Irvine Warehouse Cleanup:

Individuals and Small Groups (less than 10): From 10am until 1pm on the 3rd Saturday of each month, volunteers help us clean up the warehouse in Irvine, California, and ensure we keep it neat and tidy to make room for furniture donations and designers to put together items for a home.
