Our Warehouse – Organize, Design, Plan

Our warehouse in Santa Ana is where our volunteers meet to prepare for future projects. It is where we store all the furniture and supplies needed to furnish the homes of our recipients. In the warehouse, you’ll help plan, create and design the living space for a family in crisis.

We need help with:

  • Sorting donations
  • Packing for installations
  • Lifting and moving furniture
  • Organizing and cleaning
  • Furniture painting and refinishing
  • Re – Upholstery
  • Sewing

Furniture Installations – Making a House into a Home

With our volunteers help, and our designer’s keen eye, we transform empty spaces into comfortable homes. Although the design work has already been completed in the warehouse, volunteers will have the opportunity to place items into a house or apartment and create a home. If you are able to join us on an installation day we promise it will be a day you’ll never forget.

Our non-profit partners become aware of recipient needs only a few days before an installation. Because of this, we ask for our volunteers to let us know if they are available during the week, as well as weekends, and to be aware that we might call them a week, sometimes days before an installation. We greatly appreciate our volunteer’s flexibility.

We need help with:

  • Lifting and moving furniture
  • Assembling furniture
  • Picture hanging
  • Furniture touch-ups
