Habitat for Humanity-Homes for Heros Foundations for Famalies

Designers are designing home interiors for the Third Phase of this San Juan Capistrano project. Eighteen homes are scheduled to be completed in September of 2010.  Designers select furniture and accessories for the families with guidance from a “Questionnaire” detailing the hopes and dreams of each family member.

After successful phases 1 and 2, you won't want to miss the opportunity to attend the open house prior to Habitat's dedication ceremony on September 25, 2010.

Veterans First

Did you know there are up to 5,600 veterans living on the streets of Orange County? Veterans First's facility in Garden Grove provides permanent housing for 22 disabled, homeless veterans. Furnishing Hope will transform this facility into a place they can call home.  Around Veterans Day, multiple Volunteers including 4 designers will perform a one day makeover.  One previous veteran recipient said, "It's a certified Motel Six in here. We're never gonna want to  leave!"
