Ellen Gladis

Born with a paint brush in her hand, Ellen has been fortunate to make painting, her passion, a career. Ellen is a Trompe L’Oeil Mural Artist. Her murals and decorative painting can be seen in restaurants, hotels, medical buildings, shopping centers, schools, as well as model and custom homes. Ellen’s company, Painted Destinations, combines her other passion of traveling, with painting.  Ellen’s latest medium is silk. The dyes on silk create a life of their own in radiant colors with a brilliant effect. Her one of a kind original hand painted scarves and sarongs make beautiful wearable art pieces.  Ellen’s inspiration comes from Mother Nature, traveling, and from the beautiful area she resides in Newport Beach, CA.
