We are grateful to have been featured in Fleur de Lys‘ “Window to the World” for the month of March 2012.
We had a wonderful time during the sale weekend as we were able to reach out to people who didn’t know about our work.
Five Oaks Manor Holiday Tea Fundraiser – December 11, 2011
Furnishing Hope Presents a Holiday Tea In Support of Our Wounded Warriors
Our third event in the series “Inside Orange County’s Finest Homes” will take place at the beautiful Victorian home of Chris and Cheryl Lentz. A scrumptious afternoon tea menu will be presented to our guests in an appropriate location to celebrate the holidays. Please bring unwanted jewelry to donate, and you will receive a free raffle ticket.
Proceeds will help support Furnishing Hope’s program to furnish homes for our severely injured military returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan.

La Casa Della Famiglia Roy Fundraiser – September 24, 2011
Furnishing Hope Presents an Evening In Support of Our Wounded Warriors
This is our second event in the series “Inside Orange County’s Finest Homes” and will be held at “La Casa Della Famiglia Roy.” A few of Furnishing Hope’s wounded warriors will be present during an Italian-themed evening in this beautiful Tuscan home. Sargent Major O’Loughlin, United States Marine Corps, from the Wounded Warrior Battalion on Camp Pendleton will speak about the Battalion and what our men and women face as they return home from war. Also included in the event will be an opportunity drawing, live and silent auctions.
Proceeds will help support Furnishing Hope’s program to furnish homes for our severely injured military returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Orange County Homeless Veterans Stand Down – September 17 and 18, 2011
Help Furnishing Hope Serve Those Who Served Our Country
Furnishing Hope will be present all three days of the event to provide a children’s tent for homeless families. We are planning a variety of events for the children of homeless veterans to participate in and invite you to have fun with us!
We need volunteers to do a variety of tasks, from set up of our area to playing games with children. We will be working the event from set up starting at 9am October 16th until we finish our break down on the afternoon of the 18th. The 16th will consist mostly of setup. Services will start on the 17th and 18th at 6am, and finish on the 18th at 12pm, when break-down will ensue. When you fill out a volunteer form found on the bottom of the Ways to Volunteer page, please designate the day (Saturday or Sunday) and time slot (early morning, afternoon, or evening) you would like to volunteer along with your phone number, and we will call you to find a time slot and position for you from your availability and your interests.
