Wounded Veteran Has Home Furnished for Free

New Corona homeowner David Mayer, an Army veteran wounded in Iraq, had his entire home furnished by local nonprofit Furnishing Hope.

Mayer, a double amputee with specific mobility needs, had a house custom built for him and his family by Homes for Our Troops — an organization that provides homes for wounded military veterans. When Mayer moved into his new Corona home, Furnishing Hope was able to provide all of the home furnishings to allow for a smooth transition.
