BECCA Swim Teams Up With Furnishing Hope for 2012 Swimwear Collection Donation

We are excited to announce BECCA Swim’s commitment to donate a portion of every swimsuit sold from three groups in the 2012 collection to support our wounded warriors. These military service members will be returning from the front lines due to severe injuries sustained while serving.  Furnishing Hope furnishes homes for wounded warrior families who are ready to move from the hospital to housing, to continue their healing process.

Often, the housing is a temporary sanctuary while the military member attends doctor’s appointments and possibly undergoes more surgeries.  Many of these families are in crisis as the warrior and caregiver work through details of their new life; shopping for furniture, coordinating shipping logistics and recruiting friends to help set up the furniture are the least of the families’ worries.

Rebecca Virtue, daughter of Beth Phillips, Furnishing Hope’s Executive Director, designed three lines of swimwear: Lady Liberty, American Beauty, and Red, White and Blue.  All suits will be manufactured in the United States. Furnishing Hope is proud to have BECCA Swim as a current supporter of 15 wounded military members by assisting us in transforming their house into a home.  By attaching the special Furnishing Hope tag to these swimsuits, Furnishing Hope will have the opportunity to be exposed to hundreds of thousands of people throughout the United States.

BECCA Swim has dedicated a page on their website explaining their commitment:
